    Early Chanel Pendant Brooch by Goossens in signature colors. Stones are set right side up and upside down as is often in jeweled Chanel pieces. Faux citrine, amythest and peridot pastes surround hand made glass pearl cabochon with articulated faux pearl pendant drop. 1960’s France.

    A chain can be run through pin for use as a pendant. Gilded Bronze. Excellent condition.

  • Name:  Coppola e Toppo for Schiaparelli Aquamarine Crystal Necklace

    Coppola e Toppo for Schiaparelli ombre aquamarine crystal and gilt metal necklace. A plastron of blue ombre crystal arabesques is supported from three strands of aqua crystals. Excellent condition. Hand made in Italy 1950’s.
    17″ length with 2″ extension, 4″ x 5.75″ plastron, 1″ bead width. 

    The Coppola e Toppo company was formed in the late 1940′s by brother and sister designer duo, Bruno Coppola and Lyda Toppo in Milan, Italy. After small commissions for Dior and Balenciaga, Elsa Schiaparelli commissioned a line of faux coral bead jewelry, which launched them to the top of the couture fashion echelon. Pucci and Valentino followed with more commissions. This allowed them to increase the number of their jewelry designs under their own trademark, “Made in Italy by Coppola e Toppo.

    Scooter had boutiques throughout France in the 1980s and 90s making large statement jewelry encrusted with rhinestones. This large dramatic bib is made of hundreds of hand set jet pastes in articulated settings. Very striking and beautifully made. Scooter also produced for many designers of the period including Jean Paul Gaultier. 14.5″ x 6″. Unsigned, France 1980’s. Excellent condition.
