Description: "I have found it impossible to carry the heavy burden of responsibility, and to discharge my duties as king as I would wish to do without the help and support of the woman I love"

  • Name:  The Human Heart Dish

    Price: $25,000.00

Wonderful heart shaped pin dish with charming transfer graphics centered around the "Isle of Man" floating in the "Ocean of Love" surrounded by the topography of human emotions. Faith, Charity and Piety unfortunately don't hold much territory.

This antique piece from the 1930's is beautifully detailed and edged in gold (as all hearts should be). It's not priced to sell as we love it a little too much, but, if you stumble upon a similar item while rummaging and shopping, please be sure to grab it.

  • Name:  Amazing Elsa Peretti Snake Belt

    Price: $0.00

Early Elsa Peretti for Tiffany & Co. sterling serpent head belt. Amazing scale and quality, this is the largest of the series of sculptural snakes produced by Peretti in the 1970's. The deep grey leather belt loops through the mouth and doubles over in a knot which is held by the fangs of the snake. The modeling and sculptural quality of this piece makes it iconic and special. Originally gilded over sterling, the finish has worn to a bright silver. The buttons which hold the belt to the snake head, however, remain gilt and there are even glass eyes in the sockets. Designed during the period where she accessorized all of Halston's shows. One can as easily see this ornamenting a simple cashmere T shirt dress or coiled on a table as objet. Head: 4" x 2.5", Belt 46". Overall Excellent condition. 1970's USA.
