    Modernist Geoffrey Beene’s suit in lightweight stretch lurex wool doublefaced crepe. All the seams are entirely hand overcast as is necessary with this material. The finishes are clean and almost reversible as can be seen in last image.
    Jacket is closed by a simple bold plastic zip and pieced with biomorphic seaming around body and shoulders.Faux pocket flaps and collar and kimono cut sleeves, with no overseam. Skirt is a simple slim cut with no waist band, back zip.
    Dusty apricot color with silvery highlights. These speed suits were Beene’s solution to the active woman who needed a chic and easily packable wardrobe. Excellent condition.

    Great, oversized blouson jacket in doubled synthetic navy silk with a geometric pattern of darker chiffon ruffles throughout. If laid flat this would be double ply oversized T shirt with mini ruffle decoration. The hem and sleeves are gathered by adjustable drawstrings to give the bubble shape.
