Unusual Modernist sterling candy or nut dish from the 1950's.

At first glance, this design could be a public pool by Zaha Hadid or a decoration for George Jetson's amoeba coffee table. High style sterling silver holloware was never produced in large quantities in the period.  This lovely design was made by Reed and Barton.
