Striking cocktail dress of silk marquisette and lace. Undulating graduated panels of wavy lace circle the full skirt of the dress which is backed in a stiff crinoline. The bodice is overlaid in marquisette as well with doubled layers forming pattern illusions across the neckline and down back. Beneath the stiffened crinoline is a rayon lining.
