French figural powder puff of Pierrot hidden in a celluloid mandolin.

Pearlized and marbleized celluloid is used for this unusual table piece. Pierrot "puff" is hidden in a retractable door which opens by pulling down a lever along the side. Amusing art deco vanity table piece. Hand painted detailing. France 1930s.
